In a gesture of goodwill, Pakistan has decided to release 365 Indian fishermen held in Pakistani jails.
According to Federal Ministry of Interior, 340 fishermen and 25 crew will be released from Malir jail in Karachi while the rest will be released from Gadani, Balochistan.
All the Indian prisoners have completed their jail term and would be sent to India through Wagah border on Saturday.
Representatives of Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Home Department Punjab / Sindh and Indian High Commission shall be present on the occasion, says a press release issued here Thursday.
This goodwill gesture from Islamabad came in the wake of increasing tension along the line of control in Kashmir region since the start of this month.
