Zardari to hold party meeting today

ISLAMABAD - PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, who returned Pakistan late Thursday night, has decided to hold important party meeting to resolve the present political deadlock with offering some unique ideas.
"Asif Ali Zardari will hold important parleys with party's senior members Friday today," PPP's senior leaders shared with The Nation.
Earlier, Zardari had a crucial meeting with party's bigwigs in Dubai and discussed the political situation in the country.
"PPP senior leaders including Khursheed Shah, Raza Rabbani and Farhatullah Babar have also been conveyed to reach Karachi to discuss the current political situation," they said.
Sharing PPP's meeting in Dubai by telephone, PPP's senior member Qamar Zaman Kaira, currently in Norway, said that there was consensus in the meeting to resolve the ongoing deadlock in line with the constitution.
Meanwhile, sources said that PPP's co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in his Dubai meeting also discussed in length about party's position in Punjab. They discussed in length to mobilize their party in the province with some structural changes in coming days.
The sources said that PPP's senior leadership has decided to change some party position in Punjab analyzing party's weak situation in the province.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah while talking to media suggested that Imran Khan should change his priorities by first agreeing to judicial commission to investigate the rigging charges.
He said if judicial commission established the rigging in the general elections, then he would be justified to demand the PM's resignation.
He said Imran and Qadri should trust the report of judicial commission.
He also advised Imran to head the committee of parliament on electoral reforms.
