ISLAMABAD- The Senate adopted a resolution, today, affirming the supremacy of the Constitution and the Parliament.

The resolution, moved by Saeed Ghani, strongly condemned the use of abusive and derogatory language by the leadership of PTI and PAT in their speeches.

The resolution said the demand for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's resignation and dissolution of the Parliament is unconstitutional. The House reiterated the resolve to uphold the rule of law and sovereignty of the Parliament.
