Services of 61 Nadra employees terminated

ISLAMABAD - The management of NADRA in a late Tuesday night development terminated the services of its 61 employees all over the country on the charges of disturbing the essential services of the Authority, sources aware of the development informed TheNation.
A senior officer of NADRA management connected with the development informed that termination letters had been issued to 61 employees and these would be served upon them immediately at their residential addresses. He said that action had been taken after the approval of the competent authority for causing disruption in NADRA’s essential services as well as the Authority’s communication network, causing damage to its infrastructure and to avoid threat to compromising Nadra’s database. He further said that the step had been taken in violation of NADRA standing operating procedures (SOPs) and action would also be taken against them under the Pakistan Essential Services (Maintenance) Act, 1952.
