Govt on course of confrontation: Pervaiz Rashid

Spokesperson of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government by not writing letter to the Swiss government to reopen the cases against President has adopted the course of confrontation. Talking to a private TV channel, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that it would be very difficult for smooth functioning of the government's affairs, if it refuses to obey verdicts of the courts.Responding to a question, the PML-N leader said that PPP has always used delay tactics. On PML-N's support to PPP on 18th amendment, he went on to say that the 18th amendment is related to the people of the country and the constitution not to PPP. He said that PML-N would pressurize the government, if it failed to obey court's verdicts. Meanwhile, Central Information Secretary of PPP, Fauzia Wahab has said that the ministers of PPP in the meeting showed their solidarity with President Asif Ali Zardari. Talking to a private TV channel, she said that President Asif Zardari has the immunity in accordance with the International Convention and no case can be reopened against him.
