Supreme Court Friday exempted Nusrat Bhutto from appearing in court in accountability case, a private TV reported. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Thursday took suo motu notice of summoning of former Pakistan Peoples Party chairperson Begum Nusrat Bhutto in the Cotecna reference by an accountability court of Rawalpindi. The court had issued fresh summons for Nusrat Bhutto after rejecting the National Accountability Bureaus request to exempt her from personal appearance due to her vegetated state.
