ISLAMABAD  – Ramna police arrested 12 suspects during search operation and also impounded 10 motorbikes during checking in its respective area, a police spokesman said on Friday.
Following the directions of IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan, teams of Ramna police station supervised by ASP Zahid Bukhari conducted search operation in its area including sector G-12. The search operation was conducted by police teams in various localities including slum areas, under construction buildings, houses, hotels and a total of 12 suspects were arrested who could not produce any document for their identification.
Meanwhile, Ramna police teams also ensured special checking and impounded 10 motorbikes. IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have directed to expand this search operation in other areas of city and asked to ensure strict monitoring and keep vigilance eyes of suspected elements. The purpose of starting search operation in various areas is to ensure foolproof security in the Capital, the IGP added.
