Islamabad- At least 27 people were admitted to Pakistan Institute Medical Sciences following clashes between the police and the workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek today morning, officials said.
Talking to a private TV channel, Medical Superintendent of PIMS said 27 injured were brought to PIMS adding of them 26 are policemen while one is a civilians.
He said that most of the policemen have suffered head injuries, adding injured are being provided best medical attention.
“We have all facilities and medicines available….we are on high alert and good care is being provided to the injured,” he added.
