ISLAMABAD – Nigerian Ambassador to Pakistan, Daudu Danladi Friday felicitated President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistani nation on the 73rd anniversary of Pakistan Day and pledged to join hands with the people of Pakistan in Pakistan Day jubilations across Pakistan.
In his message to the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Nigerian Ambassador Dauda Danladi said, “I feel honored, on behalf of the Government and people of Nigeria, to extend warmest greetings to your Excellency and through you to people of Pakistan on the auspicious occasion of Pakistan Day; a landmark day in the history of Pakistan when the Muslims of Sub-Continent adopted epoch-making Lahore Resolution, 1940 under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for an Independent homeland to live in peace and harmony in accordance with democratic aspirations free from repression and subjugation.
Nigerian Ambassador Dauda Danladi further added that the vast majority of Pakistanis are peace loving, progressive, patriotic and moderate and resolved to strengthen existing trust diplomatic relations between Federal Republic of Nigeria and Islamic Republic of Pakistan as time goes by.
