The Federal Government today will file an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the Lahore High Court (LHC) decision declaring PML(N) Quaid, Mian Nawaz Sharif disqualified for contesting by-election. The petition challenging the LHC decision disqualifying Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for contesting by-election has been drafted, which will be filed in SC today. It may be recalled that the federation had announced approaching SC against the LHC decision of disqualifying Nawaz Sharif. Federal Minister for Law, Faruque H Naek had said in the National Assembly that the petition challenging the LHC decision has been prepared and it would soon be filed in SC.
