Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the government believes in independence and supremacy of judiciary. PPP has always rendered sacrifices, more than any other political parties, for independence of judiciary and today the courts are supreme and independent, he said while talking to media Tuesday outside Supreme Court building after a hearing of the NRO case. He said it is good news that any impression of a tussle between judiciary and executive has been dispelled. We are with the courts. We have stated this time and again and we will always follow the law and the constitution, he added. He said that a particular section of media had always aspired to lead to a confrontation between executive and judiciary.
