Imran Khan concludes a productive visit to Davos

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland where he also addressed the international business community leaders at a reception held under the banner name `Pakistan Lunch', hosted by Pathfinder Group Chairman, Ikram Saigol.
“Imran represents the hope for the future of Pakistan,” Ikram Saigol told an audience of about 200. In his address at the well attended gathering Mr. Khan reiterated his promise that his party would sweep the elections, which are scheduled for May.
Apart from his well-known stance on the war on terror, Mr. Imran Khan advocated that the present government had lost its moral authority and the time was ripe for change. He warned that if the present “corrupt set up” is tolerated, there may be a revolution made up of young Pakistanis under the age of 30.
He added that the Indo-Pak peace process must continue at all costs, and should not be derailed by skirmishes. “What is required is strong, credible leadership with a public mandate. There are 40 million young people in Pakistan who will vote for the first time. They represent a “vote for change”,” he stated. He said that what lies ahead for PTI will be an "epic battle" with the "political class" and parties that have a vested interest in preserving the current "crumbling system" and status quo to stop change.
