Pakistan condemns unprovoked NATO attack

Pakistani Foreign Office vehemently condemned the NATO forces unprovoked attack on Pakistani security post located in Mohmand Agency near Pak-Afghan border, which claimed lives of 25 security personnel. Meantime, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) also voiced concerns over the attack by US forces stationed in Afghanistan; however, it said the elaborate statement will be issued later on after the details of the attack are received. Pakistani FO spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said the issue will further be raised with the US officials. Pakistans acting ambassador to US Iffat Gardezi woke up the high-ups in Washington administration to convey the protest to the US government. Meantime, Pak-Afghan Highway which is used as route of supply to the US-led NATO forces positioned in Afghanistan, has been closed in protest against the unwarranted attack by the US forces.
