ISLAMABAD – A special team of Ramana police station on Tuesday arrested a housemaid for her alleged involvement in killing an elderly woman in Sector G-11/1, the police spokesman on Tuesday.According to details available from police officials, Sufya resident of Sector G-11/1 was found dead in bathroom of her house. Police found dead body of victim tied with ropes. It was revealed that her maid (now in police custody) Fiza Yasir, allegedly killed her with the help of her aides after tying her with rope and took away gold ornaments at a time when son and husband of deceased were out of home.Following the incident, family of deceased had given advertisement for housemaid few days ago and appointed Fiza Yasir at their house. Taking up case, SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq constituted special team under supervision of SP (Saddar) Sajid Kiyani to trace the killers at earliest.  This team including ASP Zahida Bukhari and Station House Officer of Ramana police station Abid Hussain started the investigation and nabbed Fiza Yasir who along with her husband Yasir Latif killed the female owner of the house. Case has been registered against them under section 302/381/34 PPC and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this performance and announced cash prizes as well as commendation certificates for the team.
