RAWALPINDI - It seems the anger of black coats against military dictator and former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, who returned Pakistan after his over four-year self-exile, yet not cooled down as the legal fraternity stressed on trial of the military dictator under Article 6 of the Constitution for his alleged involvement in heinous crimes.These crimes included suspending the Constitution twice, provoking Provisional Constitution Order (PCO) on Nov 3, 2007, putting more then 61 judges of apex courts and lawyers in house arrest, killing Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti, invading on Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa and his involvement in former premier Benazir Bhutto (BB) murder case.         The lawyers also demanded of putting Gen Mush name on the exit control list (ECL) and restarting investigations of Kargal operation.These views were expressed by the representatives of lawyers, who also played active role in judiciary restoration movement, in Awan-e-Waqt, jointly organized by TheNation and Nawa-i-Waqt on Tuesday.Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) former President Sheikh Ahsan-ud-Din, District Bar Association (DBA) Attock President Syed Azmat Ali Bukhari, DBA Rawalpindi former Secretary Khurram Masood Kiyani, Sardar Manzar Bashir and Azad Jammu and Kashir (AJK) former minister and Bar memer Hafiz Muhammad Ahmed Raza Qadri were the prominent lawyers.The lawyers said that the government and the nation should bring Mush, the killer of hundreds of thousands of innocent Pakistanis, to court of justice instead of spending national kitty on his security. They said that Musharraf committed heinous crimes during his regime and he should be punished on every cost.Sheikh Ahsan-ud-Din, while speaking on the occasion, said that holding general elections on time would be the utmost responsibility of caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, however, the PM should also play active role in filing case against the fomer President Gen (retd) Musharraf for mutiny.He said that the PPP regime did a big injustice with the nation by fleeing Mush from the country after presenting red-carpet guard of honor. According to him, Mush’s biggest crime was to impose emergency on Nov 3, 2007. This step only damaged apex courts, said LHCBA former President adding that he should be trialed under article 6 of the constitution.He said that despite bellowing the slogan “Sab sey pehlay Pakistan” no international player could save Mush from his logical end.“The military dictator is accused and proclaimed offender in BB assassination case. Mush also killed Nawab Akbar Bugti besides invading Lal Mosque and Jamia Hafsa. People of Pakistan will never accept Musharraf,” said DBA Attock President Syed Azmar Ali Bukhari.Khurram Masood Kiyani sough formation of judicial commission against Gen (retd) Mush to probe Kargal operation and defaming Pakistan Army. He said that the military dictator pushed the country on the verge of destruction by surrendering before USA after 9/11.Sardar Manzar Bashir was of view that Mush trying to create a situation of uncertainty in the country just before the elections by ending his self exile.Hafiz Muhammad Ahmed termed Mush arrival to Pakistan after ending four and half year self exile as an attempt to sabotage the election process.
