The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has constituted 400 teams to monitor election expenses of candidates and parties.
An Election Commission spokesman said on Friday that the scrutiny cell established by the commission is working round-the-clock.
He said the ECP has scrutinized 203 nomination papers out of 1‚402 candidates received from countrywide so far.
He said around 40 candidates of different political parties have submitted their nomination papers for two constituencies of federal capital.
It is pertinent to mention here that after necessary training‚ the teams consisting of photographers and district election officials will start working from Monday. They will also make video footage of public meetings.
