Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has regretted the statement of PTI Chairman Imran Khan terming general elections as product of international agenda.
In a statement he said this is reflective of the defeatist mentality.
Pervaiz Rashid pointed out that the Prime Minister and the four Chief Ministers were democratically elected.
The Information Minister said the economic package announced by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday is aimed at stimulating economic growth and promote tax culture.
He said the objective is to utilize the available money for economic development. It is also aimed at discouraging purchase of dollar and flight of capital from the country.
He said authority of the FBR to access bank accounts of tax payers has been withdrawn.
Senator Pervaiz Rashid said he always spoke against dictatorship and struggled for the cause of democracy.
