Sharif brothers' eligibility case hearing adjourns till February 2

Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned the hearing of the Sharif brothers' eligibility case until Monday, February 2. SC three-member Bench headed by Justice Musa K. Laghari resumed the hearing of the case this morning, heard the arguments of the contending lawyers and later adjourned it until Monday. Following the hearing, Sharif brothers' proposer and seconder's lawyer, A. K. Dogar told the media outside the court that all the cases made out against Nawaz Sharif were of political nature. He said that if Asif Zardari could be given the political benefit, then why not to some others. He further said that NRO has no locus standi in the light of the constitution. He said that the responding arguments could continue until one week.
