ISLAMABAD - Though the negotiations between the government and protesting parties (PAT and PTI) have failed to diffuse tension, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari is advising all the political parties to resolve the matter through dialogue. "Only negotiations will resolve the ongoing political crisis in the country. All parties should resolve their issues through dialogue," said Zardari putting weight behind resolving the political stalemate through dialogue.
Zardari in the statement also said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had bowed down to former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. He added the situation would have been resolved if Khan had refused to follow the orders of Chaudhry in contempt of court case on August 28, 2013.
