ISLAMABAD - Dropping a hint of some agreement with ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), chief of his own faction of Jamiat-I-Ulema-I-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman wished that both the parties should jointly make the details of the agreement public.
Talking to media at Parliament House after casting vote in favour of PML-N Presidential candidate Mamnoon Hussain, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that they were extending unconditional support to the government much before the Presidential elections and hoped that the new president would remain apolitical and serve the case of all the four federating units.
Terming the Presidential elections of great national importance, Maulana Fazlur Rehman stressed the need for taking decisions remaining within the constitutional limits and added that issues would automatically resolve when tackled as per law and constitution.
He further stressed the need for making Parliament strong and vibrant as strong and powerful Parliament could only resolve the problems facing the country. To a question about the recent attack of terrorists at DI Khan Jail and escape of criminals involved in heinous crimes from there, Fazl said that it was alarming that how the terrorists managed to attack DI Khan Jail when there are a number of check-posts between South Waziristan and DI Khan.

He said that JUI-F was of the view that Balochistan government could not form it's cabinet in almost two months and JUI-F being genuine stakeholder was alarmed over the situation. "So why we were not taken on board," he asked.
He said that JUI-F also complained that issues like China visit, sharing of intelligence briefing on security, and understanding with MQM , the party was completely left out in the dark.
As far as the cabinet is concerned, Maulana said that JUI-F is not in hurry and will submit its names for the cabinet in appropriate time. He also said that JUI-F and PML-N have agreement on priorities and both parties will strive to ensure their implementation through policies of the government.
