Muthidda gives letter to British envoy

KARACHI - The seven-member delegation of MQM on Saturday met with British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, John Tucknott and submitted a letter to British Prime Minister to record their protest against the British Broadcasting Corporation’s documentary. The memorandum states that the BBC has broadcasted another documentary against MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain based on ‘dishonesty’.
The delegation said the MQM believes in freedom of media but considers the media trials against anyone as yellow journalism and reserves the democratic, legal and constitutional rights against it. It is worth mentioning here the BBC had broadcasted a report naming the key suspects of Dr Imran Farooq murder case.
