Delimitations in Karachi should be carried out after elections: Sharjeel Memon

Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon has said that delimitation of constituencies in Karachi is not possible before general elections.
“The task of delimitation in the provincial metropolis should be carried out after polls,” he said while talking to media persons here in Karachi on Sunday.
Memon said that since general elections are looming, therefore redrawing of electoral constituencies should not be carried out in hurry which is even practically possible without population census in Karachi.
He claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif was ineligible to contest elections as he was involved in accepting money from agencies to form Islami Jamhoori Ittehad (IJI) to stop Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from winning the 1990 elections.
