KARACHI - Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Chief and Spiritual leader of Hur Jamaat, Pir Pagara on Thursday was flown to London for medical treatment in an air ambulance.
Pir Pagara’s son Pir Sibghatullah Rashdi, Jam Madad Ali, Imtiaz Ali Shaikh and a team of doctors also accompanied him to London after medics allowed the veteran politician to travel for medical treatment. The PML-F chief’s younger son, Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi has been in London to make arrangements for his father’s treatment. Ailing PML-F Chief Pir Pagara was taken in an ambulance from Agha Khan Hospital here in the City to an air ambulance at airport, which later took off for London.
A large number of followers of Hur Jamaat were present at the airport to see off their spiritual leader. Special prayers were offered here in Karachi and Interior Sindh by his followers for the early recovery of their spiritual leader Pir Pagara.
It’s pertaining to mention here that Pir Pagara was admitted to Agha Khan hospital on November 24, where he underwent a surgery to remove a cyst. Doubts emerged about the Pir Pagara health after PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi were not allowed to see Pir Pagara at the Intensive Care Unit. After the procedure, Pir Pagara complained of shortness of breath, which was followed by a kidney disorder and a possible case of pneumonia, sources said.
