Aitzaz Ahsan Monday admitted that pressure maintained by lawyers on government was eased after some deposed judges took fresh oath. Talking to media persons at the Karachi airport, Aitzaz Ahsan said judges that took fresh oath have admitted that they were rightly sacked. SCBA president said 60 judges would be arrested in the future if such thing continued to happen. He added that functional judiciary could only be seen with the reinstatement of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Ahsan also agreed that fresh appointment of some deposed judges had eased the pressure on the government. He felt that poor people of Pakistan needed impendent judiciary.
