KARACHI – The Department of Public Administration, Karachi University (KU), organised a lecture on “The Society Lacks Leadership” on Sunday. Prof Dr Khalid Iraqui, Chairman of the Department of Public Administration, delivered the lecture, which was attended by students in big numbers. Iraqui said that society was in need of leadership. He said universities played vital role in term of providing leadership to any society. “Universities teachers have great duty to educate and socialize their students. In educational institutions, the leadership qualities of students are judged by teachers. Education’s role in progress of any society and country cannot be ignored, while education and leadership characteristics are linked with each other,” he said.
