Noorani Workers Convention tomorrow

KARACHI - The preparations for first Noorani workers convention is in full swing as the workers of Jamiat-e-Ulema Pakistan (JUP) are enthusiastically busy in organising the event in the metropolis which is to be held on November 9 (Sunday) at Khaliq Dina Hall.          The Nazim-e-Alla of JUP Karachi division, Shabbir Abu Talib, when contacted told The Nation that JUP was holding the first ever Noorani workers convention in which the Party workers would participate from across the City. There would be four sessions held in the convention in different timings after starting at 10am. Talib mentioned that entry in the convention would be allowed only for the workers and activists of JUP. He said religious scholars, Ulemas and intellectuals would address the convention throughout the day. JUP Karachi has planned this convention to reorganise the Party at grass-root level. Chief of World Islamic Mission, Shah Anas Noorani, JUP Central President Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair, member of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sahibzada Attique-ur-Rehman Faiz Puri, senior leader of JUP Shah Fareed-ul-Haq, Central General Secretary of JUP Qari Zawar Bahadur, Mufti Jameel Ahmed Naeemi and Ulemas from across the country will attend the convention. Talib said that through this convention JUP would show its strength in the metropolis that Karachi was the City of the slaves of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). More than 3,000 JUP Karachi activists would attend the one-day Noorani Workers Convention in which several programmes will be held to educate the JUP workers about the religious thoughts, he said. "Special passes have been issued to the workers of JUP to participate in the convention." He further informed that Mufti Ibrahim Qadri would deliver his lecture on 'Jihad' in the light of Quran and Sunnah adding that several wrong perceptions about Jihad, through lecture, would be clarified. Mufti Abdul Aleem Hazarwi will deliver his lecture on 'Aqeeda Khatam-e-Nabuwat' because here in the society some elements want to damage the belief of Khatam-e-Nabuwat. More than 200 religious scholars, Ulemas and other prominent religious personalities will also attend the convention. Talib said JUP would hold the public meeting at the end of convention in which we would organise the programme for the general public, because during the convention we will not allow common people to attend the programme because it will only for the workers of JUP.
