KARACHI – The Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology has achieved commendable success in developing information and communication technology and emerged as a modern educational technology hub contributing significantly to both knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation. This was stated by ZA Nizami, Chancellor SSUET, at the launching ceremony of the Durrani Institute of Computer Technology.  He pointed out that despite difficulties of various magnitudes, new initiatives have to be taken to ignite and accelerate the creative and research potential of the students. Speaking on the auspicious occasion Mr Nizami offered his full support for the divine cause and later he inaugurated the Durrani Institute of Computer Technology.Junaid Ahmed Mukhtar, President Nashrah Foundation, said little drops of water make the mighty ocean and Nashrah Foundation which started with a little space, is making huge progress to be a great institution of international repute. Badaruddin Fakhri said that the deed of kindness is the only thing which is eternal. Establishment of welfare organizations like Nashrah is a great legacy we are leaving for generations to come.Earlier Syed-un-Nabi presented the welcome address and said that the opening of the Durrani Institute is to promote the thought and philosophy of Baba Obaidulla Durrani.
