Newly Elected President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has said that collective effort is needed from all political parties to meet wit the issues like Law and Order and Energy crises which are two major issues of the country.
Mamnoon Hussain said that Prime Minister (PM) Mian Nawaz Sharif is serious and determined to solve the problems of Pakistan, while had also visited Karachi and will chair a special meeting with all the stakeholders in connection with law and order.
He stated that the good news for the nation is that the energy production has increased from 11,000 MW to 17,000 MW, which is a good achievement by the new government in a short span of time.
On situation of Balochistan the new president said that the governor of Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai and the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Abdul Malik Baloch are aware of the ground situation, as they have direct contact with the people of Balochistan.
Talking about Kashmir he said that Kashmir issue remains the biggest hurdle in the normalization of bilateral relationship between India and Pakistan. The present government of Pakistan supports dialogue and peace.
About relations with China president maintained that, the exchange of delegations and the visit by Pakistani Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and subsequent meetings with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang have resulted in signing of MOUs for economic development.
Commenting on Pak-US relations’ new Mamnoon Hussain said that to maintain good relations with Pakistan, US government should stop drone attacks inside Pakistan.
Mamnoon Hussain said that If we want to progress as a nation, there needs to be good governance, end to corruption and promotion of culture of honesty and merit.
He said that as the President of Pakistan, he would do whatever he can in his constitutional capacity to maintain good relations with central government and the provinces.
