One-man has been killed and three other persons injured including a retired Police DSP in a planted bomb-blast in Baldia-Town area before main gate of Bahria Colony on Thursday. Police carrying preliminary investigations informed that the bomb was planted in a motorcycle under a bridge before the main gate of naval colony, while DIG West Karachi also informed that the intensity of the blast was low and after the blast numbers of motorcycles and vehicles also caught fire, while one man died and three others injured including a retired DSP Muhammad Salman and a policeman Police, Rangers and Naval personnel after the blast cordoned off the area, initiated a search operation and arrested a suspected person from the premises of naval colony, while bomb disposal squad that arrived at the crime scene arrived after an hour of the blast and searched out a suspected truck that was also parked under the bridge before the main gate of Naval colony While terror and panic struck the citizens of the adjacent areas and dozens citizens also gathered at the crime scene, however law enforcement agencies disperse the citizens to avert any further untoward incident in the city.
