Three killed in Karachi violence, five arrested, arms recovered

Three persons were killed and several others wounded in separate incidents of firing in different areas of the city on Saturday. Police and rangers continued search operations against criminals and target killers and arrested five suspects besides recovering arms during a raid in Shah Faisal Town. According to police, unidentified armed men shot dead one person Usman 28, in Frontier Colony area. Two persons, Murad Ali 25, and Abrar 27, sustained injuries in separate firing incidents in Mominabad, Orangi Town and Colony Gate areas. The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment. Another person were killed in firing and bullet riddled body was recovered in different localities of the city. Meanwhile, the police and rangers continued search operation against target killers and criminals in different areas of the city. The police took into custody five suspects during separate raids and search operation. During a raid in Shah Faisal Colony the rangers recovered arms including one Kalashnikov, two repeaters, two 30 bore pistols, one 9MM rifle, a 32 bore revolver and hundreds of bullets.
