KARACHI - The Crime Investigation Department (CID), on Tuesday, claimed to have arrested the activist of a separatist movement involved in terrorist activities in Sindh.
Saifal Bugti alias Suriya, son of Muhammad Murad, is an activist of the Sindh National Party (SNP). A CID team headed by SP Fayyaz Khan arrested him near Quaid-e-Azam Park, Gulshan-e- Hadeed, on a tip-off.
A TT pistol and several rounds were seized from him. Suriya, who is said to be a close aide of Sindh Liberation Army chief Shafi Burfat, has involvement in svereal terrorism cases.
