Police raid farmhouse of PML-F leader

KARACHI - The chief of PML-F, Pir Sibgatullah Shah Rashdi Pir Pagara has condemned the police raid on the farmhouse of party leader Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh in Jamshoro.
He termed it political victimisation of PPP government against his party for its opposition of controversial Local Government Law.
In a statement issued here on Friday, PML-F chief Pir Pagara said that PML-F would continue its opposition against the LG law, which was a dual-administrative system in Sindh.
The Jamshoro Police raided the farmhouse of PML-F leader Imtiaz Shaikh and arrested employees.
He said that PPP government started political victimisation of the party by implicating his party’s leaders and workers in false cases. He announced that his party will continue its opposition of the LG law, which people of Sindh believes an anti-Sindh law.
Police arrest 32 accused in last 24 hours: The Karachi police in their on-going drive against criminals, arrested 32 accused during the past 24 hours.
A police statement on Friday said that those arrested included seven absconders.
It said that there were four encounters of the police with the alleged criminals and three gangs of alleged criminals was busted during the period.
In all, 23 pistols and nine mobile phones recovered from the possession of the accused, the police statement further pointed out. The police have registered cases against the accused and have started investigation.
