Will mere condolences heal the wounds of heirs?

KARACHI – Widespread condolences were offered for the victims of massive blaze that claimed 300 lives and several injured, on Wednesday.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed shock and grief over the death of a number of innocent persons due to unfortunate incident of fire in a garment factory in Karachi. In a statement issued here, the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said loss of previous lives, especially the women workers of the garment factory, was a very unfortunate and he was shocked on this news. He expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives and condoled with the bereaved families.  He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and Almighty Allah grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
ALTAF HUSSAIN GRIEVED: The chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain has said that perishing of a large number of workers in horrific fire in a factory in Baldia Town was a big national tragedy.
He said that he was sorely distressed on the tragic incident. Talking to the members of the Co-ordination Committee Pakistan, he said that he could equally feel the pain and sorrow of the mourning families of the deceased workers. Hussain asked the Co-ordination Committee, office-bearers and workers of the MQM to take full part in the funeral and burial of the deceased workers of the factory. He also asked them to share the grief of the bereaved families and sympathise with them. He also appealed to the philanthropic and charitable people to help the affected families in every possible manner as the workers belonged to the poor working class.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Labour Secretary has expressed sorrow over the loss of life in the blaze at a garments factory on Hub River Road. The secretary has said an inquiry would be conducted into the incident. He said if anyone was found responsible for any negligence stern action would be taken against them. Labour Director Zahid Gulzar has also expressed grief over the incident.
GOVERNOR EBAD GRIEVED: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has expressed grief over the loss of life in the fire incident at a factory on Hub River Road. He has also expressed sympathy with the injured of the incident.
The governor has directed the officials concerned to utilise all available resources to control the blaze. Dr Ishratul Ebad has ordered an inquiry into the incident. He has also ordered that the injured do not face any problems in their treatment. He expressed condolences with the bereaved families.  He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the bereaved families.
He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
