Korangi Road echoes with slogans for Muhajir province

KARACHI - Hundreds of activists of the newly-emerged Muhajir Sooba Tehreek (MST) on Sunday assembled for a protest on Korangi Road, demanding a Muhajir province for the Urdu-speaking community.The MST activists were holding placards inscribed slogans, “We want Muhajir province”, Pakistan Army Zindabad”, “Muhajir province is the voice of the Muhajirs”.Speaking to the protesters, MST leaders demanded the government to immediately pass a resolution for a separate Muhajir province in the National Assembly. They said formation of a Muhajir province was the need of hour, and vowed that they would continue their struggle for an independent province till the last drop of their blood. The MST leaders appealed to the military and patriots to support the formation of a separate province for the Muhajirs.
