KARACHI - A delegation of Hindu Panchayat on Tuesday met with PPP MNA Faryal Talpur, sister of President Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House in the City.
Led by it Chief Babu Mahesh Kumar, the Hindu Penchaet delegation briefed the PPP MNA Faryal Talpur about the situation and injustices with the Hindu population in the province. They briefed that the Hindu girls were being kidnapped and forcibly conversion forced the Hindu families to leave the country.
Meanwhile, talking to the delegation, Faryal Talpur assured the Hindu Panchayat delegation that government would protect lives and property of Hindus besides it will take practical steps to stop the incidents of forcible conversion of religion.
She further assured that the government will ensure the rights of the Hindus according to the vision of Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She said that job quota for the minorities would also be implemented with letter and sprit. Faryal Talpur told the meeting that the PPP government had taken steps for the security and rights of the minorities, which could be gauged from work on ground.
She appealed to the Hindu families not to leave the Sindh province as they are the equal owner of this land.
