Unidentified militants have blown up a 24-inch diameter gas pipeline near Pirkoh gas field. The militants had planted explosive on a pipeline supplying gas to the Pirkoh purification plant in Dera Bugti and exploded it. As a result, gas supply to the plant was suspended. According to the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), the repair work has been started and the supply will be resorted in 24 to 48 hours.
