KARACHI - Special Investigation Unit claimed to have arrested a target killer from Korangi area and recovered weapons from his possession.Police said that the accused Saeed Alam aka Munna Bengali was arrested in a raid conducted in the said area and recovered 5 Kalashnikovs and two TT pistols from an empty house at Korangi. Police said that in initial investigation accused Saeed confessed to have killed at least eight men in separate acts in different areas. Police said he was affiliated with a political party but his affiliation has yet to be disclosed, adding that he was nominated in several cases in Zaman Town and Korangi police station.Law-enforcement agencies conducted a targeted raid in Abbas Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. According to details, LEA personnel on a tip-off conducted raid in Abbas town area and apprehended at least three suspected men, later they were taking to undisclosed location for questioning. The identities of the arrested suspects were not disclosed.Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) in separate raids claimed to have arrested at least 16 members of car lifters group and recovered 20 snatched vehicles from their possession.
