At least 15 suspects were arrested as Rangers continued search operation against target killers, criminals and extortionists in different areas of Karachi on Sunday. According to Rangers' sources, over 15 suspects were detained at Gizri P and T Colony of Defence. Arms were also recovered during the house to house search operation. Rangers' sources said that raids were conducted on hideouts of criminals in different areas. Sources said that over eight suspects were arrested in continued search operation in Zia Colony area of Korangi. All the roads reaching to the area were cordoned off and no one was allowed to go into the area. Meanwhile, two persons sustained injuries in firing incidents who were rushed to nearby hospitals in different areas. According to police, unidentified gunmen opened fire and wounded Akbar, 24, near football ground at Chanisar Goth. The injured person was shifted to Jinnah hospital for treatment. On the other hand, Wicki, 22, got wounded while resisting a street crime near Defence Mor on Korangi road.
