LARKANA - District Co-ordination Officer(DCO) Larkana Syed Hassan Naqvi presided over a meeting regarding to finalize the arrangements regarding the celebration of Eid Milad-u-Nabi (PBUH) (12th Rabiual Awal) in his office here on Thursday. The meeting reviewed and discussed the maintenance peace and tranquillity during the processions of Eid Milad in district. The meeting decided to celebrate Eid Milad with religious fervour and enthusiasm throughout the district. DCO urged upon the representatives of law enforcing agencies that all out efforts should be made to ensure the law and order situation in the district as well as the traffic arrangements may be ensured on the occasion. The DCO directed all the TMOs to ensure the repair of roads and patch work on the routes of procession of Eid Milad and also ensure the cleanliness and lighting on the occasion. He also directed HESCO representative to ensure the supply of electricity on 12th Rabiual Awal, 1431 AH, and the HESCO personal would also accompanied with the processions for removing the wires interrupting the passage of procession. DCO urged upon the Ulema of both sects and the people of every walk of life to play their role in this regard and create the atmosphere of brotherhood and unity on the occasion. The Ulemas assured of their full cooperation in this regard. Concerned police officers were directed to maintain law and order during celebrations and to simplify the procedure of issuance of route permit in order to avoid any sort of misunderstanding. The meeting decided a control room may be established in DCO Office with No 9410337-8, 9410354, 111-123-579, DPO Office with the No 9410412-25, ASP City with No 9410403-03003475993, EDO Revenue office No 9410384-03337551232, DDO Revenue office with No 9410340-03343700229, Ms CMCH with No 9410718-03002476704. The meeting also decided the hospitals will remain open, the staff and medicines may be ensured in the hospitals. DCO Larkana also directed the service delivery offices including health, HESCO, Police Force, Civil Defence, SSGC, TMAs of Larkana, Ratodero, Dokri and Bakrani to ensure proper arrangements on this occasion and same may be sent to DCO office Larkana. The telephone wires and cables on the routes of the processions would properly be maintained and the Sui Gas Lines would also be maintained in a proper way. The meeting was attended by all the concerned officers.
