Funeral prayers of 7 who died in Karachi accident offered

Funeral prayers of deceased were offered on Sunday as death toll in the Godam Chourangi accident has mounted to seven.
These people were killed in a rare kind of accident near Godam Chowrangi in Karachi on Saturday night.
Died people included a woman and child.
A bus, carrying merrymakers of a wedding ceremony, was pressed down by a fallen pillar of a linking bridge, killing five of them and injuring another five. Dead include father and sister of bride while a child is also among those killed.
Bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. More than 50 celebrating individuals were onboard who were rescued by cutting the wreckage. Eyewitnesses said that a blunder committed by the driver resulted in the deadly accident.

Provincial government Sindh has announced compensation for the aggrieved families of victims of Chourangi  bus crash. Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh, Haleem Adil Shaikh said that Rs 1 lakh would be granted to the heirs of each deceased while family of injured people would be compensated with Rs 50 thousand.
