KARACHI- Unidentified opened fire at a police mobile van in Orangi Town today, killing a policeman and critically injuring another.

According to police sources, the mobile van was on routine patrol through Orangi Town's area of Islam Chowk, where it came under attack. Two police were critically injured in the ambush. The Rescue personnel rushed both of them to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where one of them died. According to the police, the deceased police man was 35-year Mahboob and the injured is Farooq, 45 years. Following the attack, more police force has been sent in the area to track down the culprits.
