Sindh Assembly session tomorrow

KARACHI- The Sindh government has summoned session of the Sindh Assembly on Friday (tomorrow), ignoring the requisition submitted by the joint Opposition parties to call the session to discuss the Thar drought. The Acting Governor Sindh Agha Siraj Durrani has summoned the session for March 21.
It may be noted that joint Opposition-MQM, PML-F, PML-N and PTI with signatures of 55 MPAs, had submitted joint requisition, requesting the government to summon the session as they wanted to discuss the urgent Thar drought, which has killed over 100 children so far. It is expected the joint Opposition members will protest over not summoning the session on their requisition. –Staff Reporter
However, the Sindh government sources said that they will allow the discussion on the Thar drought as Chief Minister himself will brief the Assembly about the relief aid for the drought affected people.
Besides, the government will inform that they have taken action against the officers for their negligence.
