2 injured in firing at flood affectee's camps in Gulshan Mumaar

At least two flood affectees were injured when some unidentified men opened indiscriminate firing at camp for flood affectees here in Gulshan Mumaar, Karachi on Saturday and warned them to evacuate the land while Chief Minister Sindh has taken notice of the situation. As per details, some unidentified men fired at relief camps for flood affectees and injured the two affectees identified as Aijaz (22) and Jhandu Khan (44). The injured have been shifted to Abbasi hospital. CCPO Karachi Waseem Ahmad refused to comment on the issue saying that the flood affectees are occupants. EDO Revenue Roshan Shaikh denied the firing incident and said that incident was a mere brawl between two groups over milk that injured two persons. Chief Minister Sindh has taken notice of the incident and sought report from CPO Karachi in this regard while Chief Minister has directed the police to ensure security of the flood affectees. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah told Online that nobody could stop the affectees from taking refuge in Karachi. The flood affectees complained that their self-respects are being trampled upon. They said that Pakistan is their country and they have right to live here with dignity. The flood affectees have demanded of the government to ensure provision of security and relief materials in these relief camps.
