KARACHI - The PML-F chief Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdir Pir Pagara on Monday announced that his party will not take part and boycott the by-elections to be held on six provincial assembly’s vacant seats on February 18 in Sindh.He was addressing a press conference here at Raja House on Monday. Magsi group had joined the PML-F and reposed full confidence on the leadership of Pir Pagara.Pagara said our workers and leaders do not have “ill-gained money” as it can be thrown for just 50 days only. He urged all the workers to get themselves prepared for general elections.He said a grand alliance would be formed very soon comprising of all parties and this alliance will fully participate in general elections.Meanwhile, PML-F secretary general Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh speaking on the occasion said, “We are in contact with all the parties and very soon seat adjustment and electoral alliance with these parties would be announced.”He expressed no confidence over the voter lists’ verification being done in Karachi without the supervision of Army. He also demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan to review the by-election process in Sindh. He further said the PML-F would seek court for the nomination of opposition leader in Sindh Assembly.Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khuhro has yet not nominated the leader of the opposition in Sindh Assembly despite repeated reminders.Earlier, after meeting of two sides, the JUI-F and PML-F have decided to form an electoral alliance keeping in view the incumbent worst situation of law and order in the country.This was decided at a meeting held here between the delegation of JUI-F headed by Khalid Mehmood Soomro with PML-F secretary general Imtiaz Sheikh at his residence. Both the leaders discussed matters regarding the electoral alliance. Both the leaders agreed that it is the need of the time to provide alternate leadership to the masses of Pakistan.NPP, PML-N, Awami Tehreek and other parties of the SBC are already part of the grand alliance. These two leaders said that the incumbent PPP’s era was the black era in the history of Pakistan.A meeting to discuss the grand electoral alliance with all the parties will soon take place in the leadership of Pir Pagara to finalise the electoral alliance, he said.They said Pakistan was burning due to law and order situation, collapsing economy, CNG shortage, rampant corruption, flour shortage and now people are fed up of the PPP leadership as well as Zardari, they noted with concern.Sheikh said the PML-F would never allow division of Sindh through the SPLGA 2012 and now functional has emerged as an alternative political force. Both the leaders stressed that rulers have ruined the whole structure of the country.They claimed that the PPP government is the product of “easy load” pre-poll rigging which has already been started.The criteria of merit is being killed and people are already being lured by providing illegal jobs before election and due to this people are fed up of Zardari, they said.Both the leaders said the PPP was an expert in providing jobs and bribes to political workers to strengthen their weak political strength in the country.These two leaders said general elections in 2013 would proved to be the last nail in the coffin in the government of PPP Zardari group.
