Karachi shut as MQM observing 'day of mourning

The financial hub of the country, Karachi, continues to be bedeviled by the ongoing wave of ethnic violence, as four more people were killed in sporadic incident of violence in different areas of the city. Routine life, business and commercial activities in the city have come to a complete halt, as Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is observing day of mourning against the ongoing bloodbath. All major business and commercial centres and industrial areas of the city remained closed. Major roads and arties of the city wore deserted look, as there was no public and private transport on the roads.
