Applications invited for vacant teaching posts

KARACHI – Directorate of School Education, Karachi Region Education Director Niaz Ahmed Laghari has announced that the candidates willing to apply on the vacant posts of Primary School Teachers and Junior School Teachers, can now submit their applications at the concerned Sub Division Office till May 20.
According to notification issued on Tuesday, the male and female candidates are required to submit their applications at the respective offices designated for the same. Conversely, candidates willing to apply on the post of High School Teachers (grade-15) are directed to submit their applications at the education office in Bolton Market.
JOB TEST OF TEACHERS ON APRIL 29: Meanwhile, Laghari has notified to all candidates, who have applied for the vacant posts of Arabic teachers, that the recruitment test will be held on April 29. According to announcement, the test for the female candidates will be held at Public School Sir Syed Town, North Karachi, while for male candidates the test will be held at the Cadet College Steel Town. All the candidates are directed to contact the offices of the District Education Officer Secondary, Bolton Market.
Meanwhile, teachers of Government SM Science College, Karachi, and members of Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association, Karachi Chapter held a meeting on Tuesday, and denounced the proposed merger Government SM Science College into the newly formed Sindh Madressatul Islam University to expand the land of the University. The administration of the Government SM Science College and the leaders of Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association, Karachi Chapter held the meeting at SM College to discuss the negative and positive aspects of the decision to unite both the institutions. They resolved that the historical heritage of the college will be protected at any cost.
