Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has decided to enforce the new system of mobile phone SIM sale. PTA released handout said that PTA Zonal Director, Abdul Batin has strictly directed all the mobile operators for providing their customers all the facilities enabling them to get their SIM activated without any hassle, as on and from January 31, pre-activated SIM would not be issued or sold. The use of non-confirmed and illegal SIMs would be banned from February 1, while all the SIMs without the confirmation of customer data would be disconnected.
