KARACHI  - The government has made arrangements for the sale of quality items on discounted rates at the utility stores corporation (USC). This was stated by the Commissioner Karachi, Roshan Ali Shaikh, says a statement on Friday.It said that the Commissioner visited utility stores at Pakistan secretariat and Jehangir Road.He inquired from the customers regarding the products, procedure of sale etc. It said that the customers expressed their satisfaction about the quality of the items put on sale. It said that the Commissioner asked the staff of the utility stores to be courteous with the customers.Meanwhile, the Commissioner also checked the prices of eatables being sold by the vendors in Saddar area. He directed that at the complaint cell set up by the civil administration.He also called for action against profiteers.
