Patron-in-chief of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that defending former president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf in treason case is also a 'treason'.
Bilawal wrote a message on a social media website: "Musharraf's defence in the treason case is also treason. Attempts to incite armed forces to come to his aide is desperate & disgusting."
Musharraf on Sunday said that all-powerful military was upset for his trial under treason charges, claiming that army is backing him.
The former army chief, who is chief of his party - All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) - is summoned by a Special Court in high treason case on the charges of subverting the Constitution and imposing emergency in November 2007.
