KARACHI - The official website of the Karachi University (KU) was hacked on Saturday by, allegedly some Indian hackers, but they have failed to destroy the data of the website.
An official of the University on Friday said that the some hackers tried to hack the KU website, but fortunately they have failed to destroy the data of the website. He said that the data is remained saved. He said, “Some hackers on the other day tried to hack the official website of Karachi University, and later it was closed. However, the hackers did not reach to the data posted on the website. The messages displayed by the hackers show that they belonged to India. The website would be restored in 24 to 36 hours. The website of KU is visited by about 2million people every week. The hackers attempt two or three times a day to hack it, but their bids are foiled due to better strategy, says the handout.”
